Manda Remmen artist

Manda Remmen is a Collections Assistant at the Denver Art Museum and former Assistant Professor of Art and Chair of the Art Department at Emory & Henry College. She attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree concentrated in Drawing and Sculpture and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education in 2001. She completed her graduate studies in 2011 at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Edwardsville, Illinois with a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture.  Manda Remmen creates work about place and history, using a variety of materials, influenced by the place in which she lives.​
